Charisma is a powerful tool in politics that’s often strategically weaponized, second only to deception, enabling leaders to inspire, mobilize, and manipulate the public, voters and their constituents.
As a former CIA officer, I’ve seen this in action firsthand in several developing countries around the world and everyday in my home country of the United States. Politicians weaponize their charisma and maintain a grip on constituents for their own selfish needs under the cover of leadership.
